Special requirements

• Copper Sensitivity

  Like all invertebrates, they are highly sensitive to copper. Avoid copper-based medications and ensure fertilizers are shrimp-safe.

• Predator Warning

  Do not house with loaches, puffers, or larger carnivorous fish that may consume small invertebrates.

• Breeding Safety

  If breeding, a sponge filter is required to protect the miniature young shrimp from being drawn into the filtration system.
