Our story

It started with an overstocked 40-gallon tank and a lot of dead fish. Like most hobbyists, we learned the hard way that aquarium keeping has a surprisingly steep learning curve — not because it's truly complicated, but because the right information is scattered across a dozen forums, outdated websites, and contradictory YouTube videos.

We built Mahiyar to be the single tool we wished we'd had from day one: a smart stocking calculator that actually understands bioload, a compatibility checker that flags aggression and water-chemistry mismatches, and an emergency rescue assistant when things go wrong at 2am.

Today Mahiyar is used by hobbyists in over 40 countries — from nano planted tanks to large FOWLR reef setups. We're a small team that cares deeply about the hobby and the health of the animals in our care.
