Special requirements

• Copper Sensitivity

  Like all invertebrates, they are highly sensitive to copper. Copper-based medications should never be used in their environment.

• Breeding Isolation

  If breeding, hatchlings should be kept in a separate dedicated breeder aquarium or a species-only tank to prevent predation by tank mates.

• Stable Water Quality

  Requires an established aquarium with good filtration and high water quality; more sensitive to parameter shifts than Neocaridina species.
