• High Harem Ratio

  Maintain 1 male with 4-6 females to dissipate aggression during courtship and territory defense.

• Stable Alkaline Water

  Highly sensitive to parameter swings. Requires over-filtration and minimum 30-50% weekly water changes.

• Intermediate Scaping

  Provide a mix of rock piles and open sand. Males establish territories between rocks, often marking boundaries with a shallow sand lip.
