Blackwater Conditions
Requires very soft, acidic water (pH 4.0-6.5) and thrives best with dim lighting, botanical leaf litter, and alder cones.

Unsuitable for general community aquariums due to its tiny size. Keep in a species-only setup or exclusively with other diminutive, peaceful fish.
