Special requirements

• Solitary Male Housing

  Only one male Betta should be kept per aquarium to avoid territorial aggression inherent to the species.

  Requires direct access to the water surface to breathe atmospheric oxygen. Maintain an air gap between the water and the lid.

• Habitat Preference

  Thrives in heavily planted environments with slow-moving water, mimicking its natural habitat of rice paddies and floodplains.
