Special requirements

• Nocturnal Habitat

  Requires plenty of rocky crevasses and hiding places to provide shelter from bright reef lighting; naturally most active at dusk.

• Selective Predation

  Safe with corals and anemones, but will consume small fish and ornamental shrimp.

• Initial Feeding

  May require live saltwater feeder shrimp or ghost shrimp to entice a feeding response when first introduced to the aquarium.
