Special requirements

• Social Environment

  Due to their timid nature and tiny size, they are best kept in large groups of 10-12+ and should only be housed with other very small, peaceful species to avoid stress.

• Tank Maturity

  Thrives in densely planted aquariums with clear water and plenty of aquatic vegetation to provide security and natural foraging.

• Breeding Behavior

  Continuous spawners that provide no parental care; a separate breeding tank with a mesh bottom and Java moss is recommended to prevent the adults from eating the eggs.
