Special requirements

• Solitary Male Housing

  Requires direct access to the water surface to breathe atmospheric oxygen. Ensure there is an air gap between the water level and the aquarium lid.

• Low Flow Environment

  Naturally prefers slow-moving or standing water; high-output filters should be baffled to avoid stressing the fish.
