  Requires a tight-fitting canopy as they are known jumpers; keeping the water level a few inches below the rim allows them to practice their natural hunting behavior.

  Primarily a surface dweller that needs open swimming room at the top of the water column, unencumbered by floating or surface-reaching plants.

• Dietary Supplementation

  Thrives on a variety of meaty items like live insects, mealworms, and plankton; should be supplemented with dried seaweed using a surface clip.
