• Stress-Induced Camouflage

  This species can quickly turn completely black when stressed, allowing them to evade predators.

• Territorial Hardscape

  Requires plenty of live rock with multiple hiding places to establish territories and decrease aggression, especially if kept with other damselfish.

• Maturation Aggression

  While initially peaceful, the fish may become more aggressive as it matures, which can impact the selection of future tank mates.
