Special requirements

• Copper Sensitivity

  Like all invertebrates, they are highly sensitive to copper. Copper-based medications or fertilizers containing copper should never be used.

• Predator Avoidance

  Do not house with loaches, puffers, or larger carnivores, as these shrimp are small enough to be viewed as prey.

• Breeding Filtration

  If breeding, a sponge filter is essential in the nursery tank to ensure hatchlings are not sucked into the filtration system.
