Special requirements

• Water Softening

  Prefers slightly acidic water. Indian almond leaves and driftwood are highly recommended to release tannins and naturally soften the water.

• Established Ecosystem

  Requires a well-established aquarium with a mature substrate and plenty of hiding places to support natural biofilm growth.

• Breeding Safety

  To ensure the survival of young shrimp, hatchlings should be moved to a separate aquarium as most tank mates will consume them.
